AI POLICY LEGAL with SUPPLEMENTAL PLAIN LANGUAGE
The “legal” sections represent the legally binding terms of the Agreement.
The plain language “human version” sections are there to help a reader summarize and interpret the content. Please note that the plain language sections are only intended to supplement the legal sections with more user-friendly terms, but in the event of any conflict between the legal sections and the plain language sections, the legal sections shall prevail.

(doing business as OpenRecovery), and its related, affiliated or subsidiary companies (“Company” or “we”) collects, uses, and shares your information, provided by you through or when you use our service (the “Service”), including the website available at https://www.openrecovery.com/ (the “Website”), together with other related webpages, services and content accessible through the Website, the “OpenRecovery: Addiction Help” mobile app (the “App”) to consumers in need of recovery (“Consumers”), and the RecoveryIQ Web-based Dashboard (the “Dashboard”) available at https://recoveryiq.openrecovery.com/ ****to coaches, counselors, and sponsors (“Facilitators”) in support of recovery, as well as your rights regarding the information we collect. UNLESS OTHERWISE DEFINED IN THIS AI POLICY, TERMS USED IN THIS AI POLICY HAVE THE SAME MEANINGS AS IN THE TERMS OF USE, WHICH CAN BE ACCESSED AT HTTPS://WWW.OPENRECOVERY.COM/TERMS-OF-USE.
Human Version: This AI Policy explains how OpenRecovery uses artificial intelligence to support you in your recovery. It covers how we build AI tools and what they do, including how they process your data. If you use our app, website, or dashboard, this policy tells you what to expect from the AI features.
Legal: This AI Policy applies only to the Service. This AI Policy does not apply to any websites managed, maintained, and/or hosted by third parties not directly affiliated with Company that you may visit, (e.g., via a link provided through the Service or on a website maintained by any third party). Company does not control the AI policies of other websites to which we may provide hyperlinks. We encourage you to learn more about the AI policies of third-party websites directly from such third parties, as their policies may differ from ours.
